Term Two has started!

Welcome back everyone !

We kick started with ANZAC and we made beautiful poppy with collage art. Our Inquiry Topic this term is 'Creepy Crawlies' this term. Some of us are bringing Bug books to read and show some fantastic pictures. If you find some bugs at home, you can bring to the school, so that we can look at them.
We will have awesome fun learning experiences with bugs and creepy crawlies.

Just a Minute Speakers Week 10!

NA shared her special book of Lorax. She talked about how she loves the story, and it will be in the cinema during the holiday! UN also shared his special portfolio folder from his Kindy. There were plenty of pictures to talk about it. Well done everyone who shared special reports and speeches during the term 1. We will look forward to what term two will bring to us:))

Just a Minute Speaker Week 9

Well done LN for sharing her special book from her Kindy. It shows the wonderful memories from the Kindy. NS shared his special story about where he lived before Auckland. He talked about the museum 'Puke Ariki' has a real shark for everyone to see.

Amazing Assembly!

Week 9's Assembly was ran by Room 1, and we were amazing!

Well done MG for making a great report and sharing special knowledge of dinosaurs. We enjoyed looking at your T-Rex and it's realistic sound!
LM shared with us her special DVDs collection of 'The Land Before Time' which also movies of dinosaurs in cartoon. Those DVDs are broght all the way from England.
LN and NC are the next week's Just a minute speakers. We are looking forward to you both:-)

The first exciting House meeting!

Last Friday we had great fun and excitments in the first house meeting ever. Hillary house members dressed with wacky hats and Blake house members changed their hair red . Each house had their special games and activities at first and then shared them at the hall later on.

Just a Minute Speaker of the week 7

KB talked about his special photos from the trip in the speech, and KF talked about her weekly gymnastic training. They were confident speakers and the audience were amazing! We welcomed room 3 students in our classroom for the morning, so we had nearly 45 people in our classroom!
