Just a minute speaker week 9

FK talked about how she loves her teacher. She told us that when she was to decide the topic, her mother suggested this topic. It is great to see that FK shared her opinion in her speech:) JM had a guest speaker, his grandfather. His grandfather brought with fishing gears like fishing net, life jacket, few photos and fishing rod. John told us that he caught 8 fishes in the last trip. When he was 3 years old, he caught a fish for the first time. His grandfather said that the biggest fish he caught was a 6 metre long king fish. He also showed us the photo of  the big crayfish he caught. JM is not only a great rugby player, but a great fisherman!
Next week BM and AI will be making speech. We will be looking forward to it!

Just a minute speaker Week 8

AI shared her special speech about her puppy and how she train her at home.She could be the future a dog whisperer. RF shared his report about sharks and showed some pictures of scary looking sharks. Well done both for fantastic speeches.

Just a Minute Speaker Week 7

HH talked about her new Paint brushes and paint. She said that she loves to paint and painted a picture of a story she written. The story title is 'I went to the park.' She promised she will bring the paint to show us once she finished. DH made a speech about how he enjoyed the trip to Wellington. He showed us several special photos from the trip.

Just a Minute Speakers week 6

BH talked about his soccer team and showed us uniforms, socks and shoes he wears to play match with. He belongs to Blackburn Rover team and his club name is Fencible United. His position is a striker and he got the first player of the day certificate! His told us that his brother also belongs to the same club. We can see how proud he is to be a great soccer player!
EM shared her special book of Repitiles and talked about some facts of repitiles. EM must learn so many facts from reading at home. She also talked about the special trip to the Croc World in South Africa, and she showed us the map of the place.
Well done both for the second time to organize fantastic speeches.
Next week DH and HH's second time to share their speech!

Found Creepy Crawlies aroung the School!!

On Thurday some of us found a praymantis outside the room 8. We all went to see it! How exciting!
